FINANCIAL ANALYST

Vertex Advisors seeks a Financial Analyst Consultant who will provide accurate, insightful, and timely analytics support to our clients in alignment with your clients’ business goals and project objectives. We are looking for someone who is a fast learner and takes ownership and pride in producing the highest quality work product. In this role, the selected candidate will closely collaborate with a team of highly motivated and well-regarded management professionals to achieve agreed upon performance targets including to identify, research, analyze, and present critical business drivers, trends, and project-level analysis.

The position will be remotely based in the U.S. . Travel for team and client engagements will vary as necessary for particular client engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, quantitative discipline, computer science, or business management.

• Minimum of three to five years of relevant financial analysis experience, professional services or law firm experience preferred.

• Attention to detail and ability to use sound judgement when communicating financial information to clients.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) and proficiency with Word and PowerPoint.

• Capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Utmost professional respect, consideration, and professional service provided to co-workers and clients.

• Strong adherence to moral and ethical principles and values such as integrity, honesty, dependability, and sound discretion in handling confidential information.
